Add and Configure Free SMTP Servers

Before you add and configure an SMTP server, you need to ensure your mailbox allows POP3 and SMTP servers to be set. You can find this information after you log into your mailbox through your browser, open settings menu and select POP3 and SMTP configuration section, and allow access to your mailbox via POP3/SMTP.

Note: if you have a mailbox account on gmail.com or mail.ru, you don’ t need to do this.

Atomic Mail Sender supports external SMTP. You can easily configure the program:

1. Open the Settings/Common settings (F4) menu


2. Select the Mailer tab


3. Define the value for Retry interval as 1.


4. Go to the SMTP tab and check the way to send mail as External SMTP only


5. Specify the appropriate external SMTP server and its parameters


6. Click the green plus sign button


7. Specify your SMTP server settings or use the pre-defined settings.
